Secure card system
Ensures that only guests of a bedroom have access to that room. All guests are given a key card on arrival – a refundable deposit of £1 applies to each card.
Left luggage
We provide a secure baggage room at our reception which is accessible to guests all day.
Safekeeping
We can provide safekeeping for your valuables at reception at no charge.
24/7 Access
The hostel is open all day every day and our reception desk is staffed day and night. We do not have a curfew nor do we have any lockout during the day.
Self catering kitchen
We provide a well equipped kitchen with all the usual pots and pans, cooking hobs, microwaves, kettles, toasters as well as refrigerators to keep your food fresh.
Laundry
We do not have our own facilities however we can arrange to have your smelly things picked up, washed and returned in a day all for a small fee. We also have irons and ironing boards available.
Internet access
The property is equipped with broadband internet access throughout. All of our en-suite bedrooms have internet access as well – all you have to do is plug in your laptop and you are online – for free. We also have internet computers on site for guests to use for a small fee.
Travel information desk
We provide all the information that you require to get the most out of your visit to Manchester. We love this city and we would love to help you see as much of it as you can. We will book guided tours of Manchester United and Manchester City football grounds and museums.
We can advise best city tours by foot or by bus, museums, pubs, clubs (music and comedy), live music venues, theatre and restaurants for all budgets. We even do our own pub crawl where we introduce guests to the Northern Quarter by travelling from one local pub to another of an evening. These have proven to be a great way to meet new people (both locals and fellow travellers) and a unique way to experience Manchester.
Outside deck / BBQ area
If the weather is good (or not) we like to cook really great burgers and give out beer and get everyone to join in the party (this happens in a spontaneous manner so please do not be disappointed if the coals are not fired up during your visit). This is also the only place you are allowed smoke.
